Fine Grained Dead Sea Salt: Similar to our Dead Sea Salt above except with a finer grained consistency.Ingredients: Botanical Name: Sodium ChlorideCommon Name: Dead Sea Salt
I made a dead sea salt scrub with this and it's great. Question: Can I use this to make a cold process salt bar or is it better to use just sea salt?
Terah from Bramble Berry replies...Hi Laurel! I'm so glad your scrub made with our Fine Grained Dead Sea Salt turned out great! You can definitely use this salt in cold process soap to make a wonderful salt bar. Though CP salt bars can be tricky especially when using Dead Sea Salt because they are supposed to draw more moisture from the air. Check out a salt bar recipe using Pink Sea Salt in our Pretty in Pink: Salty Cold Process tutorial.
I use these salts every time I make my bath salts. Along with some Epsom salts, these really help my muscles feel better. Great texture, easy to dissolve, and really top notch quality!
It absorbs oil well and works great for exfoliating. My customers usually prefer the fine grain to the medium grain dead sea salt. I love both, but the fine grain is easier to spread around without losing crystals.
