This stained my tub and kids so I spent time making a batch of bath bombs I can’t use and it made me spend an hour scrubbing the tub. Won’t buy another thing from you all.

The mica colorants and glitter should not stain your tub. Though if your tub is just a little bit of a ring, the colorants can stick to that. But using something like a Magic Eraser will take that right off. While the Polysorbate 80 is an optional ingredient it will help the color blend into the bathwater, keeping them from sticking to the sides.

Stained the tub!

I was so bummed. The fragrance and glitter in this kit were very fun, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. I followed the instructions and used the specified amounts of the ingredients. HOWEVER, the pink mica (I didn't try the other colors) stained my bathtub very badly. I have tried numerous methods to remove the pink, to no avail. Be careful!!

The micas can stick to the ring around the tub though using the Polysorbate 80 should help them disperse into the bathwater and keep that from happening. Using something like Comet should help clean the color from the tub, we've also heard liquid laundry detergent works well for removing color.

I enjoyed this kit. I loved the Apple Sage fragrance. Even my hubby liked it. The recipe says it makes about 15 bombs and I was only able to make 10. And I wasn't a big fan of the type of glitter. I prefer more of a "shimmer". I liked it overall.
