Kaolin Clay: This clay is most commonly used in mineral makeup recipes but can also be used in a wide variety of bath and body products. This natural clay is perfect for sensitive skin and is most often used as a base in mineral makeup for a matte finish and to provide a nice slip when applying your homemade eye shadows and foundations.

I use this in my shaving soap. It adds just a little bit of extra slip. This really is a VERY fine powder. Be careful when opening/closing your bag or container.
I love this clay, along with Bentonite for use in baking-soda free deodorants. Works like a charm.
Just like Cathy said in her review, I couldn't make a bath bomb to save my life. I added 1/8 part kaolin clay (2 cup sodium bicarbonate, 1 cup citric Acid and 1/4 cup of the clay). Wow!!!! I can make bath bombs now and they hold up nicely in the stainless molds!
I ordered two of the 12 ounce clays and wow its a lot more than i thought it would be, but for the price you just can not beat it! cant wait to make bath bombs! :)
I was always a bath bomb failure until I tried adding 1/2 part kaolin clay to my recipe! WOW! Extra hard, super fizzy bath bombs, which held the scent nicely & soften skin well:)))
