Non-Bleeding Violet:This colorant is a basic violet ultramarine that is formulated for use in melt and pour soap. It is non-bleeding and resists fading in the sun much better than FD & C based colorants.
Note: This product can be difficult to incorporate into cold process soap and speckling may result.

I was hoping to get a deep violet without using much, but it does take a bit more than some of the other liquid colors. Try mixing with white mica (I use Brambleberry's) to give a beautiful light violet shimmer in soap or lotion.
As with the ultramarine pink, this color when mixing one drop with one ounce of clear M&P results in a very very pale violet. I used four drops in one ounce of clear to get a medium violet. At this strength it was bright and strong, while still maintaining the clarity of the soap.
