Pumpkin Seed Oil: This cold pressed oil has a dark color a nutty, seed-like aroma. It's full of skin loving vitamins A and E as well as linoleic (omega 6) fatty acids. This oil absorbs easily into the skin, making it great for use in lotions, or soap. This oil is typically used at around 5-10% in cold process soap. Hi, could someone tell me the shelf life of this oil? Thanks!
Terah from Bramble Berry replies...Hi Charmy! The Pumpkin Seed Oil has a shelf life of about one year.
I recently made a pumpkin everything soap and I've never used pumpkin seed oil. I'm pretty sure it was this oil that made my soap feel so soft and beautiful on my skin. It's by far my favorite recipe. Too bad it's so dark (it's just what the oil is) but I want to use this in every soap I make.
I used this oil in a lotion and it turned a pretty soft mint green color!!
