This IS real rose water

This is rose water distillate & it should NOT be pink. Rose water distillate is by-product of distilling rose petals to make rose essential oil. The left over distilled water is clear with a light rose scent. If you find pink rose water, it is either rose tea (a tea made with hot water & rose petals), or it has been dyed pink. This rose water distillate is the real thing & I love it for facial toners. Some people will be sensitive to any distillate. Don't use distillates on your skin if you have rosacea, or if you are allergic to the plant. Otherwise, it is great in toners, lotions, etc to add a light scent.

This is NOT pure rose water

This is water with essential oils. Rose water should be a pale pink in color. What I received is water plus essential oils which I could have done at home.

not pure rose water.

Very disappointed with this rose water. It caused itchiness redness on my face when I used it as facial toner.

Terah from Bramble Berry replies...
Hi Gigi! I'm sorry you were disappointed in this product. Our Rose Water does contain a small amount of preservatives (Sodium Benzoate and Potassium Sorbate) used to keep from bacteria growing. Though this is quite normal for rose water. We love our Rose Water and thinks it's great to make gentle toners with as seen in the Infused Aloe and Rose Water Toner tutorial. I will email you personally to discuss this further.

Smells Amazing!

I used this instead of water in my face cream recipe. I usually do not scent my face lotion but have thought about it to cover the vegetable smell of the oils. Now I do not have too. replacing the water with this rose water gave it a lovely soft smell that is not offensive but enough to cover the oil smell. I will be using this from now on. Great Price too!
