I carefully followed instructions on the Soap Queen blog for diluting this particular lab color. After just 3 sec in the microwave the color exploded, so I was left with half a bottle. I continued to dilute what was left in distilled water and added germaben in the prescribed amount and ended up with purple colorant??? After doing a little checking and seeing the previous review I decided not to risk wasting ingredients and make soap with this. Normally, I love Brambleberry's products, but this lab color seems problematic.
When you first pour the soap with this colorant in it, it's pink, but after some time passes, the end result is actually blue. I tried 2 different bottles of this, thinking I may have made a mistake when mixing in the first time, but I got the exact same results.
