Shea Butter and Mint Lip Balm Projecthttps://www.brambleberry.com/in-the-studio/projects/cosmetics/shea-butter-and-mint-lip-balm-project/PS000284.html
If you’ve never tried handmade lip balm, you’re in for a treat. This recipe has a soft and silky texture that keeps your lips hydrated for hours.
It’s an all-natural mix of beeswax, grapeseed oil, and raw shea butter. A touch of peppermint essential oil gives it a fresh scent you’ll love. The recipe is firm enough for a lip balm tube if you prefer that over a pot.

Shea Butter & Mint Lip Balm Project
This natural lip balm keeps skin moisturized and protected. Peppermint essential oil adds a fresh feeling.
10 Lip Pots
1.5 oz. Raw Shea Butter
1 oz. Grapeseed Oil
0.3 oz. Yellow Beeswax
0.5 mL Peppermint Essential Oil, 2nd Distill
In a small heat-safe container, add 1.5 ounces of raw shea butter, 1 ounce of grapeseed oil, and 0.3 ounces of yellow beeswax. Place the container in the microwave and melt the balm using 30-60 second bursts. Remove from the microwave carefully, as the container will be very hot.
Stir in 0.5 mL of peppermint essential oil. Carefully pour the mixture into the lip butter pots. Place the balm in the fridge to help it cool quickly.
Remove from the fridge and allow it to come to room temperature. Enjoy!
