Make bath time fun with these adorable animal soaps!

This Animal Pal Soap Project is great to make with kids. They'll love mixing the color blocks and fragrance into the soap base. It's scented with Pink Strawberry Fragrance Oil, which smells just like the real thing.

Recipe

INGREDIENTS:
  • SFIC Clear Melt And Pour Soap Base - 1 lb
  • Caribbean Blue Color Block - 1 Block
  • Kermit Green Color Block - 1 Block
  • Perfect Red Color Block - 1 Block
  • Yellow Color Block - 1 Block
  • Pink Strawberry Fragrance Oil - Trial Size
EQUIPMENT:
  • 6 Cavity Kids Animals Silicone Mold - 1 Mold

Instructions

You will need:

  • 6 Cavity Kids Animals Silicone Mold
  • 16 oz. Clear Melt and Pour Soap Base
  • Perfect Red Color Block
  • Kermit Green Color Block
  • Caribbean Blue Color Block
  • Yellow Color Block
  • 0.3 oz. Pink Strawberry Fragrance Oil
  • 99% Isopropyl Alcohol in a Spray Bottle

Follow these steps:

1

Chop 16 ounces of Clear Melt and Pour Soap Base. This is something that your little ones can help with, under grown-up supervision. Place the soap in a heat-safe container and melt in the microwave on 20 second bursts. Carefully remove your container from the microwave, as the handle may be hot.

2

Stir in .3 ounces of Pink Strawberry Fragrance Oil. Separate your soap into four containers (4 oz. each) for your four animal colors. If you'd prefer to have all of your animals the same color, this step is not necessary. Add small shavings of color block into each container, stirring to combine. We chose to make our frog green, our puppy & monkey red, our elephant and penguin blue, and our cat yellow. Feel free to get creative with your colors!

3

Once you're happy with your colors, pour into each cavity of the Animals Silicone Mold. Spray each one with 99% isopropyl alcohol to get rid of bubbles.

4

Allow to cool and harden completely for 4-6 hours. Unmold and enjoy!
