Instructions

You will need:

  • 16 oz. Coconut Soy Wax
  • 2 oz. Avocado Oil
  • 1 bottle (1.75 oz.) Orange and Clove Fragrance Oil
  • Melon Orange Candle Dye Flakes
  • 10 Flower Clamshell Molds
  • Digital Scale
  • Microwave-Safe Container
  • Thermometer
  • Spoon or Spatula

Follow these steps:

1

Microwave the wax in 30-second bursts, until fully melted.

2

Weigh out 2 ounces of Avocado Oil and add it to the melted wax. Mix thoroughly.

3

Add a few Melon Orange Candle Dye Flakes and stir until dissolved. Keep adding flakes until you reach your desired color. Tip: The wax dries lighter than it looks when melted, so keep that in mind as you build color.

4

Add one full 1.75 ounce bottle of Orange and Clove Fragrance Oil and stir for 1-2 minutes to fully incorporate. Note: No measuring needed. The full bottle is the right amount for this batch.

5

When the wax has cooled to 130-135° F, carefully pour it into the Flower Clamshell Molds.

6

Allow the wax to harden for at least 2 hours. Tip: Letting the melts set overnight makes them easier to pop out of the molds.

7

Pop the melts out of the molds and cut them into individual petals.

Once you’re ready to use, place a petal or two in a warmer. Give the wax a few minutes to melt and release its scent. Enjoy!
