Create your own custom deodorant with this Lakeside Deodorant Project!

This beginner-friendly project uses our Aluminum Free Deodorant Base, so all you have to do is melt, customize with fragrance and color, pour, and let cool. The fresh scent makes it perfect for full body use all summer long.

Instructions

You will need:

  • 8 oz Aluminum Free Deodorant Base
  • 10 White Twist Tubes
  • 6 mL Sunrise at the Lake Fragrance Oil (or substitute for your favorite fragrance)
  • Droppers

Follow these steps:

1

In a heat safe container, empty both of the four ounce bases for a total of eight ounces. Melt the base on 20 second bursts until fully melted. When heating, make sure to keep the temperature below 130°F or you will degrade the odor fighting enzymes.

2

Add the fragrance oil stirring thoroughly to combine.

3

Slowly and carefully pour the base into the deodorant tubes. Be careful not to overfill, you should have enough melted base to fill eight tubes.

4

Allow your deodorant to fully cool and harden for about an hour. This formula can be used as a full body deodorant or a chafing stick. Enjoy!
