Pumpkin Powder and Jojoba Soap Project
This Pumpkin Powder and Jojoba Soap is simple, yet packed with skin-loving ingredients.
It starts with Oatmeal Melt and Pour Soap Base, which contains oat protein and whole oats. Pumpkin powder is mixed into jojoba oil and added next.
Pumpkin powder provides gentle exfoliation and has natural enzymes to help promote skin brightness and even skin tone. A touch of ylang ylang essential oil gives these bars a floral scent.
What You Need:
Instructions
You will need:
- 4 Cavity Classic Leaf Silicone Mold
- 16 oz. Oatmeal Melt and Pour Soap Base
- 1 Tbsp. Jojoba Oil
- 1 Tbsp. Pumpkin Powder
- 3 mL Ylang Ylang Essential Oil
- 99% Isopropyl Alcohol in a Spray Bottle
Follow these steps:
1
Chop 16 ounces of Oatmeal Melt and Pour Soap Base into small, uniform cubes. Place them in a heat-safe container and melt in the microwave using 30 second bursts.
2
Mix 1 tablespoon of pumpkin powder powder with 1 tablespoon of jojoba oil. Stir until there are no clumps. Add the mixture to the melted soap and stir thoroughly.
3
Add 3 mL of ylang ylang essential oil and stir thoroughly. Allow the soap to cool to about 130° F so the powder doesn't settle.
4
Pour the soap into each cavity and spritz with 99% isopropyl alcohol to get rid of bubbles.
5
Allow the soap to fully cool and harden for about 3-4 hours. Remove from the mold and enjoy!
