- Cold process soap. Bars need a 4-to-6-week cure. That time lets extra water evaporate for a harder, longer-lasting bar that is gentle on skin. For a mid-November market, gather your soap making supplies and pour by early October.
- Soy candles. Let candles cure at least 1 week for the fullest scent throw.
- Melt and pour soap. It is ready once it hardens, usually within hours. Choose it when time runs short.
