I dont particularly like coconut scent but this is delicious. And I love the strong scent. A little goes a long way!!
I must have ordered the wrong coconut oil for my soaping. This stuff stinks to high heaven. No one who smelled it said is smells like coconut oil, smells almost identical to espresso, this is no where near a coconut smell. BJ
Reply from Bramble Berry Hi BJ! I'm so sorry you received a scent you were not expecting. We love the true coconutty scent of the Coconut Flavor Oil as seen in our Fun Summer Lip Balm tutorial. It sounds like you may have received the incorrect product. I will email you personally to resolve this issue.
I really want to love this. I immidetly loved the smell of this out of the bottle. I used a usage rate of 1% in my lip balm. Upon using it my lips started burning and tingling. My lips now hurt and burn. I'm disappointed. I don't want to sell my my lip balms with this if its going to burn my customers. I also don't want to waste a bunch of my premade base. Help I'm not sure what to do. Thanks
Reply from Bramble Berry Hi Christina! I'm sorry this flavor oil started burning for you. In our tests and recipes when used at up to 1.9% the Coconut Flavor Oil did not burn at all! I will email you personally to help troubleshoot!
I have made about 14 flavors of lip balm and this is definitely my favorite! Anyone that likes coconut, loves this! I label it as "toasted coconut" because that is exactly what it smells like. The scent is delicious and strong. My friends are amazed at how I "figured out how make this great lip balm?!" They really like my other flavors, but LOVE this one. I hope to find another flavor that gets such awesome feedback as this one! Any suggestions on ones that really "wow"?
Great flavor for lip balm. I agree with other reviewer, it tastes more like toasted coconut but still great!
