I got a beautiful burgundy, shimmery, opaque result using half a block with 1 lb. M&P clear base (was going for a translucent result, but next time will just use less). It ended up looking about like the BB photo here. Didn't have any issues dispersing the colorant. I made small heart-shaped M&P soaps for Valentine's Day, using Bordeaux Blend, and wasn't happy with the way they smelled, but they looked beautiful!
I really love the results of this color block, but I couldn't get it to melt in your LCP Clear Soap Base. I don't know if the melted LCP wasn't hot enough or if another type of colorant is recommended for the LCP Clear.
