A Beautiful Pop of Color

I have never used these inside a soap. But they look fabulous on the top of my CP soap. Especially against a white color. There are so many options for how you want to place them on the top of your soap. No issue with them discoloring. I got the 1 oz bag for now. And there are plenty of seeds to use in this size. Love them especially on top of my soaps with Cranberry Fig FO.

Seeds turned black

I was so excited to use these as a pop of pretty red color up against my coral colored cp goats milk soap. Not only did the seeds turn black, the coral mica did not stick in my cp soap. As soon as I cut the bars the inside was white again with a coral outside and really black seeds. So disappointed in this batch of soap. I'm not sure what I did wrong here.

While it can be normal to get a halo with the Cranberry Seeds as with many other natural or herbal based additives, it sounds like there may be some other discoloration issues going on. Milk soaps can discolor due to the milk or it could also be a vanilla discoloration, find out more in our "Why Did my Soap Turn Brown?" blog post.

Love the seeds but they float to the top (bottom

I love the texture, the feel and the scent, but when I add them to my melt and pour goat milk base, they float to the top of the mold I am using. What am I doing wrong? i really tried to blend, but feel there is a secret that I am not grasping.

Hi Jeri! I'm so glad you love the texture, feel and scent of our Cranberry Seeds. Though I'm sorry you're having trouble getting them to suspend in the soap. The key is pouring at a lower temperature, around 120 degrees F, to increase the viscosity of the soap. This combined with continual stirring will get you the results you want!
