I loved the idea of this mold but have had the hardest time getting the soap out of the mold. Ive tried to freeze it like i read in a comment here but ive cracked the mold now trying to release the soap. Ugh. I wish there was a silicone version.
Kelsey from Bramble Berry replies...Hi Leigh! I'm sorry you had a hard time working with this mold. We love this whimsical Guest Tray Tree of Life Mold, though it can be tricky to unmold cold process soap from these hard plastic molds. It helps to use a recipe with a lot of hard oils. It also helps to add Sodium Lactate to your recipe. Get more tips in the Unmolding Cold Process Soap from Plastic Molds blog post.
I love this mold!!!! When ever I make this. Those soaps are my quickest sellers..
I like the soap that comes from using this mold. Using one pound of soaps make perfect guest/sample soap I could not give five stars because I am having difficulty with removing the soap. Can you give advice on how to remove the soap?
Terah from Bramble Berry replies...Hi Karen! I'm so glad you love your soap that come from using our Guest Tray Tree of Life Mold. Though, I'm sorry you're having a hard time removing your soap! Try placing your mold in the freezer for about 30 minutes. This will result in the soap constricting slightly and make for an easier removal. I will email you personally to discuss this further.
