Great stuff!

Definitely premium material. Very little smell, just slightly sweet (not smokey, thankfully). Works great... will purchase again.

Great for cuticle cream

I have been using this for cuticle cream and it works fantastic. No funny smell as others have said. Nice and firm, does not melt after it is created, and does well in a small tin package in your purse.

Smells funny and absorbs fragrance

There was only 1 review that said anything negative about this beeswax so I went with the positive reviews but I have to say, I agree with Laura. This beeswax had a strong smell almost similar to rancid olive oil. I used it anyway thinking it may not matter but I does and it seems to absorb all the fragrance and not let it go. I used the same recipe as always (I normally use yellow beeswax) for chocolate peppermint lip balm. I ended up putting in extra chocolate and peppermint and after it cooled it still tasted and smelled pretty waxy. My friend and I used it for wax melts as well with the same effect. We wasted a lot of fragrance and the melts barely threw off any fragrance. I'm new to Bramble Berry and I have loved pretty much everything else I've purchased but I won't buy this again.

I'm sorry this product didn't work out for you. In our tests and recipes, we found the scent wasn't noticeable in the final product when fragrance was added. Depending on where you've purchased beeswax before, it can have a different texture and scent based on batch variation and processing type. Our beeswax is minimally processed, which is why there is a little scent left. While our Yellow Beeswax is not deodorized, you may prefer its scent - it smells like natural beeswax with some smokiness as well. That smokiness can work well with certain scents, like Honey Kisses Flavoring Oil.

Not thrilled

I still haven't used it and thus can't evaluate this beeswax in terms of its efficiency or functionality yet. However, I am docking two stars because the bag I got smells awful- like burnt plastic, maybe. I'm quite worried about what happens when I do decide to use it. Will my candles smell like this? I really hope not! What sucks is that according to the reviews and item description, this item shouldn't smell (it's deodorized). Maybe I got a bad batch? All I know is, unlike many other of their products, this is one product I shan't be repurchasing from Brambleberry

Smells & Works Great

I have tried beeswax from a few vendors and they always have a funny smell. This beeswax smells like it should, with no funny scent. It works great in all my salves as well as to make candles with.
