Find out how much of this scent to use
Sweet Meyer Lemon - This fragrance is affectionately referred to as ‘Sweet Tarts’ in our office because it’s such a sweet, happy fragrance. Think of a lush, Caribbean garden bursting with the aroma of sweet lemons, horned melons, succulent kiwis, and ripe pineapple wedges. Sweet tropical florals complete this island wonder and some have compared it to the ‘Caribbean Salsa’ fragrance by Slatkin candles. We love how it performs in CP and MP soap. Discolors to a light ivory/tan.

I cannot say enough about this fragrance. It is so fresh and vibrant. I just recently started making CP soaps, after a few months of making only M&P soaps. I have read all the warnings about using citrus scents in CP soap, and haven't had one problem with this scent even after the 6 week cure time. If anything, it got stronger and had my whole drying room smelling so lemony and fresh, I couldn't believe it. I have been using it sparingly, but I will definitely be buying more of this wonderful fragrance!!
I love Meyer lemons and this oil does a good job of mimicking the sweet, natural scent of them. This is a nice fresh scent that mixes well with cookie type scents. This is a great oil for a reed diffuser. It has very good staying power.
I used this in melt & pour to make lemon slices and they turned out awesome. It smelled so good that I wanted to eat them. Not like real lemon and everyone now wants me to make them some.
I really love this sweet smelling lemon. Its almost like a sweet lemon candy, it doesnt have tart notes, in my opinion. I like it a lot, but its not a "lemony" lemon. (Which I think is great because it doesnt smell like cleaners.)
My issue though, is the amount that I've had to use for the smell to come through in my bath bombs. Almost double what I normally would have. I changed the liquid/solids ratio accordingly, but for whatever reason both this and the lavender chamomile WILL NOT SET. I dont know why. Ive had them sitting out for days now and my bombs are still super soft. I havent had this issue with any other fragrance before, even when I had to add more oil. Any ideas what to do?
Terah from Bramble Berry replies...Hi Kelly! I'm so glad you love the smell of our Sweet Meyer Lemon Fragrance Oil! Though, I'm sorry you had problems working with it in your bath bombs. I can tell you that the fragrance oil would not be why a bomb does not set up. It sounds like your bombs have too much liquid ingredients in them which can be intensified depending on the type of climate you're in. I will email you personally to help troubleshoot!
This fragrance is definitely sweet. I like it and so far my customers really like this sweet lemon scent too. Performs nicely in CP soap, didn't experience any issues.
