I agree 100% with Nancy. The screws need to be longer. It might work well in your birch wood molds, but the price on that is rather high for my budget. We are looking for longer screws to replace what came with it, but that is hard to do.
Kelsey from Bramble Berry replies...Thank you so much for your suggestion Rae, I passed that along to our research and development team! We absolutely love this tool for our birchwood molds. If your mold is a bit deeper, you can use a chopstick or dowel to design the top of the soap. We did that in the Peacock Swirl Soap video.
The comb and swirl tools are very well made. However, the length of the screws and nails are too short. They need to be longer to cover the depth of deeper molds. The length of the tool does not allow the screws/nails to reach the bottom. I also would like to see a video on how to use the tools. The comb tool is pretty straight forward, but I have yet to figure out how to use the swirl too.
