Rose Clay – Rose clay is considered a mild Kaolin Clay that is commonly used to clean and purify the skin. It has mild exfoliating powers and like all clays, helps to detoxify the skin by drawing impurities from pores. Colored a light pink, this clay is also a fantastic all-natural colorant for soap applications.

I used this in M&P soap. It made the soap (shea base) a lovely pink color. I like it.
I was looking for a natural pink to use in my cherry blossom soap so I thought I'd give this a try. I used 2T for a 6lb loaf of soap. I mixed it with my FO first and it turned a bright red. After reading the reviews I was afraid I used too much. In the end, it turned out a beautiful shade of pink. I found my new pink colorant!
This color came out very soft and sweet for my Rose scented CP soap...can this be used when making handmade lotions as well?
I use pink kaolin clay in a cp soap. I ran out of my previous kind and decided to give this a try. The color was way darker than I was expecting. The color looks too artificial for me.
Terah from Bramble Berry replies...Hi Amber! I'm sorry you were disappointed in this clay. We love the Rose Clay and the deep rose color it can achieve. It is also an all-natural colorant with no artificial ingredients. If you're looking for a lighter color you may like the Pink Brazilian Clay better.
I used this (with a touch of leftover dark red clay) to make red stripes in a natural candy cane soap. I used 1 oz in half of a 6lb batch of soap, added at light trace. It could have probably been lightened up a tad, but I really like the bright red against the white!
Awesome BB, thanks so much!
