Scent reminds me of hairspray - very strong. Not my thing. Held well in CP, but not a mover on the shelves.
Kelsey from Bramble Berry replies...Hi Sarah! I'm sorry this scent wasn't your favorite. We love this clean scent, reminiscent of line dried laundry! If you're looking for other fresh scents you may like Kentish Rain Fragrance Oil, Ocean Rain Fragrance Oil, or Fresh Bamboo Fragrance Oil.
I did NOT like this scent in the bottle, but figured I'd give it a chance and used it in M&P. It's sooooo much better in the soap! It's slightly floral and lineny. It's a very light and airy scent. Love it!
I like the fragrance and worked well in my soap.
I would like to know what are the ingredients used in this? It says something about 'cut grass and pine', and some people is allergic to those I would need to put a warn and list them in the ingredients of the soaps I make with this.
Where can I find the actual ingredients of your fragrances?
Terah from Bramble Berry replies...Hi Diana! I'm so glad you liked our Amazon Lily & Rain Fragrance Oil! Our fragrance oils, including this scent, are synthetically made so they fall under Trade Secret laws. This means the vendor does not give out ingredient information. The "fresh cut grass and pine" you are referring to is describing scent notes, not ingredients. To learn more about what's in a flavor/fragrance oil check out our What is a Fragrance Oil Made Of? blog post. To label your products that contains this scent you have to do is put "Fragrance Oil" on the label.
This fragrance is very beautiful. Since I live in the tropics, I am used to having to work around recipes because of our humidity and heat. There was some mild acceleration but I anticipated it and all was well. I really love this fragrance. I just hope it isn't only because I am an "old lady". Fortunately, my customers love it too.
I'm normally delighted with Brambleberry fragrances, but I will not be reordering this one. It smells like old lady perfume to me and it accelerated my CP batch a lot. I know how to work quickly but I knew as I was jamming it into the mold that this will be a rebatch.
Terah from Bramble Berry replies...Hi Diane! I'm sorry this fragrance wasn't your favorite. We love both the green and floral notes in our fresh Amazon Lily & Rain Fragrance Oil! Though, like most florals, this scent does accelerate. If you're looking for other fresh florals you may like Fresh Bamboo Fragrance Oil, Sunny Herb Garden Fragrance Oil, or Bonsai Fragrance Oil.
