So delicious!

I first got this fragrance in the Christmas Cheer sampler and used it in some liquid hand soap. It smelled so good I bought a bigger bottle and used it in soy candles. In the liquid soap (BB's castille & castor recipe), it discolored to a dark, translucent brown, but I don't mind because it's just hand soap and doesn't need to be visually appealing - that's what the label is for ;)

Not what I had hoped

I was really looking for something with a good strong cinnamon scent and this was a dissapointment. This truly is more like a cinnamon bun rather than a cinnamon stick! The buttery, sugary, vanilla notes are almost as strong or stronger than the spice of the cinnamon. It definitely was a disappointment in my Orange Spice Tea soap.

Hi Michelle! I'm sorry this fragrance wasn't your favorite. We love the Cinnamon Sticks Fragrance Oil, though it is a more bakery-type cinnamon scent featuring top notes of butter, sweet icing and baked bread, as noted in the product description. If you're looking for a sharper cinnamon, you may prefer the Cinnamon Leaf Essential Oil. The two may even smell great blended together! You may also like Cinnamon Sugar Fragrance Oil for a sweeter cinnamon with less bakery notes.

This is one of my favorites and I just ordered more. It has a very true cinnamon smell that sticks. I stands alone well and also mixes great with Hot Apple Pie. It does turn dark, but I split a soap batch and then mixed Cinnamon Sticks in one batch and Hot Apple Pie in the other, then swirled the two together. It's a great contrast of color and smell and I will be making more of this kind of soap.

More Cinnamon Stick than Cinnamon Roll

A good scent, as long as you know what you're getting. Definitely more of a "cinnamon stick" than a "cinnamon roll" type smell, at least in my CP soap. Brown color matched scent well. Accelerated trace quickly but I knew in advance from reading reviews here, many thanks to previous reviewers, I count on your tips! Wasn't hard to work with.

Kind of disappointed

I ordered this to do cinnamon pine scent combos but all I get is sweet instead of the spice of the cinnamon. Do you have another plain cinnamon that is actually mostly cinnamon?

Hi Allison! I'm sorry you were disappointed with this fragrance. We love the sweet smell of our Cinnamon Sticks Fragrance Oil. Though it is a bakery scent with notes of butter, sweet icing, vanilla bean, brown sugar and maple on top of the spice notes. If you're looking for a pure cinnamon scent for a blend I would recommend the Cinnamon Leaf Essential Oil.
