I love the smell out of the bottle, but in cold process soap it came across very light, even though I used .9 oz ppo. Oh well, it still does smell nice, but you have to press it up to your nose to smell it. Maybe in the shower it will regain some of it's scent. It did behave very well in my cold process recipe.
This scent smelled like sunshine with a pleasant citrus in the bottle. I used it in a goat's milk and honey mix melt and pour soap. Acted beautifuly but didn't smell like sunshine and citrus like it did in the bottle. Instead it reminds me of mountain wild berries which is a very nice smell. And as the soap ages it gets more berry scent. Differant but awesome. I only gave it four stars because I was expecting a more "bright" smell but will continue to use it because I like it.
I am a new soap maker and I was excited about the description of this FO. This was my third batch of cp soap. I attempted Mentra Swirl in page 210 of Anne Marie Faiola's book Soap Crafting.. Epic fail, smells great in the bottle, but once I put it in my cp soap the scent was light, undetectable and I experienced acceleration fast. I've been passionate about soaping and the creativity so this made me very emotional.. I'm not sure if I'll be trying this again.
Terah from Bramble Berry replies...Hi Nateesha! I'm glad you think our Rise And Shine Fragrance Oil smells great out of the bottle! Though I'm so sorry you had troubles soaping with it. In our tests and recipes we found this fragrance did not cause any acceleration as seen in the Whipped Cold Process Soap Frosting on Soap Queen TV tutorial. There can be other reasons for acceleration like soaping with high temperatures or additives. I will email you personally to help troubleshoot!
I was excited about this one, because I loved the description. I used about 0.7 oz ppo in CP soap, and initially it smelled amazing. However, as it cured, it gradually faded until it was very difficult to detect. I've found that it reappears in the shower when wet, but it's still pretty faint.

Hi Kelly! I'm sorry this scent wasn't your favorite. We've found it sticks well in cold process soap. I'll be emailing you personally to help troubleshoot!
I love this fragrance! It's fresh and fruity but doesn't smell overly sweet. Unfortunately it doesn't last long in CP even at the highest usage rate. I find that after a 4 week cure the scent starts to fade. This is one I'll keep around for any other bath or body product - just not CP soap.
