Inspiration for Taurus Season

If you were born between April 20th and May 21st, congratulations, you’re a Taurus! Taurus folks are fantastically loyal, practical, and steady. They do have a hedonistic side to them, though. Tauruses seek comfort and pleasure in many forms, from pleasant smells to soft textures.

The Taurus is a fixed earth sign, which makes them very stable. They’re hard workers and very achievement oriented. That also makes them very loyal friends and partners. They tend to be sincere, heartfelt, and soothing to be around. They are pragmatic, which makes them great at solving problems and offering advice.

They can be stubborn, though. As much as they are slow to anger, they’re also slow to pick up new habits and new perspectives. They may seem closed-minded as a result, but with patience, they can be convinced by facts.

Colors for Taurus

Since Taurus is an earth sign, we love Evergreen Mica as a color for this sign. This mica has a soft green color, reminiscent of an evergreen forest. It also has a slight shimmer, like sunlight on spruce needles. Micas are one of our most versatile colorants, and they’re great for cold process soap, bath bombs, and skincare products.

Another Taurus color is white, so we picked titanium dioxide pigment. This pigment lends a beautiful opaque, true white. Taurus scents

Because one of the birth flowers for Taurus is the poppy, we chose our Sunshine Poppies Fragrance Oil. This fragrance is a mix of lovely florals brightened with fruit and backed with warm, earthy sandalwood. It performs well in cold process and melt and pour soap projects, as well as bath bombs, candles, and body care projects.

Our Natural Vanilla and Tonka Fragrance Oil combines the luxuriousness of vanilla with bright lemon, and is rounded out by amber and palo santo. This fragrance will appeal to the pleasure seeking side of any Taurus. After all, these bullish folks lend support to those around them, and they need a moment for self-care.

Perfect Taurus projects

As a nod to this earth sign, we love the Volcanic Sand Face Scrub Project. It employs black sand from Icelandic beaches as an exfoliator and will leave your skin smooth and clean. It also has Kaolin clay, a product of the earth that helps absorb oil and dirt from your skin.
