Nice little molds
These molds are nice and pretty simple to use. As long as you pour the soap on time, they will turn out perfectly! They clean up fairly easily and make nice, clean bars.

Perfect Mold
Very pleased with this mold. Bars pop out easily and they clean up nice. I make more loaves than anything but thus mold was wonderful for my spa and facial bars! Thank you BB!

problem getting soap out
I have made several batches with different recipes and I keep having trouble getting the soap out smooth. Soap always sticks to mold and I have tried freezing and greasing!! I'd really like to return it!!

Hi Tina! I'm sorry this mold wasn't your favorite. In our tests and recipes, we've found soap pops out smoothly from this mold. If you're making cold process soap, it can take up to a week for this soap to unmold, depending on your recipe. You can speed up this process by adding 1 tsp. of sodium lactate per pound of oils to your cooled lye water. You can read more in this Sunday Night Spotlight: Sodium Lactate. I'll be emailing you personally to help troubleshoot!

I love this mold!
Really love this mold, find no issues with getting the soap out. Makes perfect little bars. I normally do 1lb of soap at a time, so I just pour so 4 bars are even height (because as others have said the cavities do hold more than 4oz. each). I do have a question though - any methods for removing smell from the silicone mold between bars? I put through the dishwasher and it still comes out smelling just as strongly of the last scent I used in it...

Hi Megan! I'm so glad you like the mold! We've found 99% isopropyl alcohol is great for cleaning these molds and removing scent. To clean those molds, spray liberally with the alcohol and let it sit for half an hour. Then, wipe the mold off with a paper towel and wash with warm water and dish soap. You can also sprinkle a little baking soda on the mold, let that sit for 30 minutes and wash with warm water and dish soap. I'll be emailing you personally to talk about this!

Not really 4 oz
I measured this after my first batch & it turned out to be 5.2 oz. I'll just have to pour them short to make the 4 oz bar I was aiming for for a client. kind of a bummer... but nice mold.

Hi Vicki! I'm sorry this product wasn't your favorite. When we poured soap into the mold, we didn't fill it all the way to the top. We left about 1/2 inch at the top. That helps the soap pop out of the mold easily. I'll be emailing you personally to discuss this!
