6" Silicone Slab Mold: The flexibility of silicone makes unmolding a small decorative slab soap quick and easy. The inside of this mold has a high gloss finish giving your soap that smooth, professional look. The sides are re-inforced to prevent bowing. This is the perfect mold to make personal batches of beautiful soap or to test out a new swirl technique without sacrificing large quantities of soap making materials.
Tip: If making Cold Process soap in this (or any) silicone mold we recommend adding Sodium Lactate to your recipe. This will help to harden up your soap so that there won't be any dents or finger marks from unmolding the soap.
The mold holds 40 ounces when completely filled to the top but we reccomend keeping your recipes to 35 ounces and under for ease-of-use.

Hi Marla! I'm sorry this mold wasn't your favorite. We've found it's great for creating square bars, as seen in this Rainbow Hearts Melt and Pour Tutorial. You may like our 10" Silicone Loaf Mold, so you can have more rectangular bars. I'll be emailing you personally to discuss this!
