Perfect Red
Very disappointed. Used this in clear glycerin soap for Christmas soap. The color looked like more of a brown to Indian red rather than the bright red I wanted to achieve. The color block itself is a briwnish red to begin with.

Reply from Bramble Berry Hi Sandra! I'm sorry this product wasn't your favorite. In our tests and projects, we've found it creates a nice bright red, as seen in this Puppy Love Melt and Pour Tutorial. You may want to add just a few shavings of color block to get a lighter red. Adding more can create a darker, more concentrated color. I'll be emailing you personally to resolve this issue!

Perfect, perfect red!
I love this colour block! It's very easy to use and it really creates the most beautiful red using a clear soap base. From hearts to grated pieces of soap, it is a vibrant, happy colour. Great for Valentine's Day, Christmas-time or all year around. I've ordered extra to always be sure to have it on hand!

Disappointed
Bought this red colorant to mix in my goats milk melt n pour to make a red, white, and blue soap. After using 3x the recommended amount all I get is pink. Ruined my project.'

Reply from Bramble Berry
Hi Natalie! When using a white soap base, it's impossible to get a true red color because the white mixes with the red, resulting in a pink hue. I would recommend using this color block with a clear melt and pour base in order to achieve a true red :)
