To achieve the color concentration in the image above use 4 grams of colorblock in 1 pound of clear M&P soap base.

Reply from Bramble Berry Hi Sandra! I'm sorry this product wasn't your favorite. In our tests and projects, we've found it creates a nice bright red, as seen in this Puppy Love Melt and Pour Tutorial. You may want to add just a few shavings of color block to get a lighter red. Adding more can create a darker, more concentrated color. I'll be emailing you personally to resolve this issue!

Hi Natalie! When using a white soap base, it's impossible to get a true red color because the white mixes with the red, resulting in a pink hue. I would recommend using this color block with a clear melt and pour base in order to achieve a true red :)
