Reply from Bramble BerryHi Jeanne! I'm sorry this product wasn't your favorite. In our tests and recipes, we've found it doesn't speckle, as seen in the Beginner's Soapmaking Tutorial video on Soap Queen TV. We recommend shaving off thin slivers in your melted soap and stirring well. The thinner the slivers, the easier they are to melt. If it doesn't melt fully, you can pop the soap back into the microwave on 5-second bursts. I'll be emailing you personally to help troubleshoot!
Reply from Bramble Berry Hi Sandra! I'm sorry this product wasn't your favorite. In our tests and projects, we've found it creates a nice bright red, as seen in this Puppy Love Melt and Pour Tutorial. You may want to add just a few shavings of color block to get a lighter red. Adding more can create a darker, more concentrated color. I'll be emailing you personally to resolve this issue!

Hi Natalie! When using a white soap base, it's impossible to get a true red color because the white mixes with the red, resulting in a pink hue. I would recommend using this color block with a clear melt and pour base in order to achieve a true red :)
