Very strong!
My chocolate soaps are beautiful! The color is perhaps even a bit darker than in the picture above, and the scent is incredibly strong and lasting. I don't smell the mocha at all, It smells a lot more like chocolate cake, and is a little too cakey for me, but I am still very happy with my soaps. I'm hoping they will come out with a chocolate milk smelling soap :)

Not color-friendly
This smells good, but will cover any colored swirl with deep dark brown to black. I tried making a soap with a blue and orange swirl (a request for a wedding) and even when keeping the colored parts separate and unscented, the brown overpowered them until they looked black. It is definitely not color-friendly.

Hi Carol! As stated in the product description, this fragrance oil does discolor to a dark brown. Unfortunately, when used with soap batter that has not been scented, the discoloration can bleed. You may find this blog post all about vanilla discoloration helpful! When planning a soap with color and swirl, it is best to choose a fragrance with little to no discoloration. You can find a list of white fragrance oils here!

Blends Well
I rec this as a sample from BB and I love it. I did the rose and dark choc blend in a BB recipe and it is GOOD. I bookmarked all the scents that blend well in this frag and I intend to go wild with the choc florals and others. Try it, you will like it! If Ann Marie had not walked me through this scent blend, I never would have thought to do it. It's a wonderful base note to use.

love, love, love!
I absolutely adore this fragrance. I primarily use it in a foot cream (with peppermint EO), and it makes the cream smell just like a peppermint patty. I also use it in whipped sugar soap and body butters and it's divine. I've sold and gifted products using the dark chocolate scent and everyone loves it.

Excellent chocolate fragrance!
I received this as a sample, and absolutely loved this fragrance oil. I used it in wax with cherry and vanilla chunks in heart molds for Valentine's Day. It was amazing. Many chocolate scents tend to give off a moldy smell in wax, but this is very true to its name. I have already ordered another bottle!
