Dragon' s Blood Fragrance Oil:This mysterious, alluring blend is difficult to describe. With warming notes of amber, incense, Madagascar vanilla and patchouli, our Dragon' s Blood Fragrance Oil is lightened up with layers of romantic notes such as rose, jasmine and lilac. Finally, our sensual, deep blend is topped off with the colorful, light touches of blood orange and grapefruit. This fragrance will discolor in your products because of the vanilla notes in it but add some gold mica in your soap (either as "veins" running through the soap or sprinkled on top) and your customers won't even notice!
Vanilla Content: 11.4%
Liquid Castile Testing Notes: We tested this fragrance in our liquid Castile soap base, we recommend making a small test batch just to be sure you like the results. Thickens when initally mixed. Final soap discolors dark brown, opaque. Remains thickened.
This fragrance is phthalate free.
Flashpoint: This medium-flashpoint oil (170ºF) cannot ship via USPS regardless of the shipping method you choose at checkout.

...and nothing BUT baby powder. I know, I know: "powder is a common note in many fragrance oils", but this isn't just a note; it's ALL baby powder. I was so looking forward to an incense type smell but when I opened the bottle, I was entirely convinced that Brambleberry must have mislabeled the bottle because it was nothing like the description. I gave it the benefit of the doubt and used it in a batch of soap, lotion, and cologne. Not only does it REEK of baby powder, but nothing I blend with it will mellow it out. I've tried sandalwood, cedarwood, tea tree, rosemary, a combination of all of the above, and that gross powder smell just cuts through everything. I'm not one to let things go to waste, but this fragrance absolutely has to be thrown out. There's not place for it in my studio.
Another winner! Again I find that a little bit goes a long way. Make sure to get some BB Vanilla Color Stabilizer if you plan on using in lighter colors. Well done, BB!
Edit 10-17-2015: HINT - Last night I dabbed some at the nape of my neck hairline and my man loved it! ;)
This is really nice! Warm, spicy sweet, I added a small amount of patchouli and this is amazing. Highly recommended!
This is a true Dragon's Blood. It smells the way it is supposed to. It's a very sexy scent, great for a man or woman. The staying power is great in hair oils and lotion bars. Add some to your diffuser and the room will smell wonderful.
At first upon making CP soap I didn't care for this fragrance at all. However I decided to wait until the soap cured a bit before reviewing it. I do like it slightly more as it has faded and became more tolerable (was super strong). I would've given it 2 stars at first but upgraded to 3 as I think it is an average fragrance as did others who I shared it with. It did accelerate the CP process.
