Dragon' s Blood Fragrance Oil:This mysterious, alluring blend is difficult to describe. With warming notes of amber, incense, Madagascar vanilla and patchouli, our Dragon' s Blood Fragrance Oil is lightened up with layers of romantic notes such as rose, jasmine and lilac. Finally, our sensual, deep blend is topped off with the colorful, light touches of blood orange and grapefruit. This fragrance will discolor in your products because of the vanilla notes in it but add some gold mica in your soap (either as "veins" running through the soap or sprinkled on top) and your customers won't even notice!

Vanilla Content: 11.4%

Liquid Castile Testing Notes: We tested this fragrance in our liquid Castile soap base, we recommend making a small test batch just to be sure you like the results. Thickens when initally mixed. Final soap discolors dark brown, opaque. Remains thickened.

This fragrance is phthalate free.

Flashpoint: This medium-flashpoint oil (170ºF)  cannot ship via USPS regardless of the shipping method you choose at checkout.

I gave it 5 stars because it did exactly what they described. Although I dislike the fragrance, it reminds me of a smell bath and body works had along time ago called moon lit path. I didn't like that either (my mom LOVED that scent) lol but it did have some good notes, I used it in hp soap, its now a very dark brown (as mentioned in the product description, a nice chocolate color), its very strong so you don't need much.

Use in bubble bath bars
I do love this fragrance and have used it in both cp soap and bathbombs. However I used it in a batch of bubble bath bars recently and they have discoloured quite dramatically. I used liquid dispersions for the colours. Is this a common occurrence?

Hi Robyn! I'm so glad you love our Dragon's Blood Fragrance Oil! We do too! Because of this scent's high vanilla content it is definitely a common occurrence for it to discolor cold process soap, melt and pour, bubble bars, etc. For more on this check out the "Why Did my Soap Turn Brown?" blog post. I will email you personally to discuss this further.

Dragon's Blood
I was never a person who liked anything with Patchouli in it...Well I have to tell you I LOVE< LOVE, LOVE this fragrance. It does turn a very dark Brown..oh well, I use some Red Oxide to swirl in it, (go fast, because it will start to accelerate quickly) Big seller for me..I tired in candles also, not a big fan of that one. This one is in my shower now..

Sexy and Full of Intrigue!
Another winner! Again I find that a little bit goes a long way. Make sure to get some BB Vanilla Color Stabilizer if you plan on using in lighter colors. Well done, BB!

Not what I expected
I love the strength of this fragrance however It is a little too masculine for what I want to use it for. I'm gonna try to mix it with vanilla to see if I like it better.

Reply from Bramble Berry
Hi April! I'm sorry this fragrance was not what you expected.  We love the more masculine scents of amber, incense and patchouli softened by the rose, jasmine, and lilac floral notes.  The Vanilla Select Fragrance Oil should definitely soften this scent!
