Nice sandalwood
Nice is a nice sandalwood, but Sensuous Sandalwood is my favorite. I use it in making perfumes.

House Smelled WONDERFUL!
I'd never smelled sandalwood before, and made this CP soap. Made the house smell wonderful! Customer requested Strong Scent, so I used the strong amount on the calculator. Customer reported that it hardly smelled at all. I have a sensitive sniffer though, and thought it was still pretty strong, although not as strong as the house smelled when I made it.... Behaved well in CP soap and allowed me to do a swirl.

HI Kristin! If you are finding that you customer thinks that the scent is too light, because soap is a wash-off product you can always add up to .9 ounces per pound (lye + oils/butters + water) of soap.

It is a terrible smell. Nothing like real sandalwood essential oil. I'm going to have to throw it away because It's unusable, it smells like old lady perfume.

Hi Jared! All of our fragrances actually smell different out of the bottle, then they do in. That is why we always suggest testing it in a small batch of soap to see what you think. This particular Sandalwood is a bit sweeter than an essential oil would be, so if you want something closer to that, we suggest trying out our Sandalwood Essential Oil or even some of our Sandalwood-type fragrances like Indian Sandalwood, Sensuous Sandalwood or Sandalwood Vanilla.
