Beautiful Blue-Green

Update: I don't know if I used more colorant than I was supposed to, but my cold processed soap does have a slight but beautiful shimmer. I was excited to have this nice surprise. I am very pleased... I am new to soap making. This colorant stood out to me on this site. It is one of my favorite colors; it looks like my birthstone (aquamarine). It came out so beautifully in my cold process soap. I highly recommend this mica.

Great Sea Color

I used this 1/4 tsp of this color in my Pirate themed soap & the color is EXACTLY what I was hoping for! It came out an amazing greenish blue color that looks exactly like pictures you see of the Caribbean sea. The slight shimmer & pearlescent effects make gorgeous waves. Wish we could add pictures!

I used this colorant in both melt and pour and cold process, and in cold process it does stick to that color, and it's nice. For melt and pour, it fades into a muddled greyish greenish murky color, and it isn't pleasant or attractive.

Tina from Bramble Berry replies...
Our testing showed Aqua Pearl Mica to stay nice and true to color, especially in melt and pour. Perhaps your soap morphed because of fragrance oil? Find out more about this in our "Why Did my Soap Turn Brown?" blog post. Customer service has contacted you directly to help troubleshoot.

Beautiful Color

I used it in a Goat Milk Melt and Pour soap that I was trying to match to a LaBomb Colorant. It came out absolutely perfect. It's a beautiful color. I will be using it in cold process and bath bombs, too.

Love this shimmery color

Just got this one last week. Used it in my CP soap & I love the color it came out. It has a bit of shimmer to it that really adds a nice look. I agree with the description as far as it changing to s more aqua color after Saponification. It looks a bit green when you first pour it. But within 24 hours it looks more aqua or teal than it does green. Beautiful mica!
