Wonderful Product!

I ordered some Argan oil from Amazon which left me & my daughter's scalp so itchy we could no longer use it. Thank you Bramble for having such a high quality product at a great price.

Good addition to my oil inventory

I bought this to make beard oil (still in test), but will need to do some research to find other ways to use it. Out of the bottle, it's just such a lovely oil, not greasy or tacky. As a side note, my dog's coat, as a result of being on prednisone, was coarse and her skin was dry. I've been applying a small amount on her fur/skin and it really has helped with the dryness. (it is safe for pets)

Nice oil

I used this oil to create a beard oil formulation. It was nice and light and performs well with all my ingredients. Thanks for the inspiration, on Soap Queen TV with Anne-Marie !

Perfecto in a bottle.

I bought this in the smaller bottle once before and I didnt have the exact amount and once BB found out they solved the problem for me. I went ahead and ordered a pound of this stuff, and was not disapointed this time. I got the exact amount I needed. BB knocks it out of the park with costumer service every time! This oil is not nutty scented which means that even though it was expeller pressed it didnt reach high temps. When argan oil has a nutty scent it means the nuts were heated before the extraction phase or during the extraction phase. It is a light oil and very moisturizing and even though it can be pricey it is so much and i mean SO MUCH cheaper to buy a full 16oz here than buying a 6 oz bottle from josie maran for the exact same thing. I put this stuff in everything I make from body oils, to balms. And even though argan oil tends to fluctuate in price BB almost always has it for the best price. TREAT YOURSELF!

Explanation of Argan Oil properties

Although I have not tried Argan oil in my recipes yet, I was researching its properties and reading reviews on the subject. I saw where one reviewer had an issue with the Argan oil sold here and it caused some concern for me and I imagine others as well when they read it. SOOOO... I immediately consulted the GOOGLE and did some extensive research on Argan oil properties and what to expect. The following has been copied and pasted from a Wiki article: Workers gently roast kernels they will use to make culinary argan oil. After the argan kernels cool, workers grind and press them. The brown-coloured mash expels pure, unfiltered argan oil. Finally, they decant unfiltered argan oil into vessels. The remaining press cake is protein-rich and frequently used as cattle feed.[1] Cosmetic argan oil is produced almost identically, though the argan kernels are not roasted to avoid an excessively nutty scent. The decanted argan oil is left to rest about two weeks so that solids suspended in the argan oil settle to the bottom, creating a natural sediment. The clearer argan oil is further filtered, depending on the required clarity and purity. Pure argan oil may contain some sediment. This is a natural part of the production process and does not affect quality. (end quote) As you can see...there is a difference in the oils. I believe what is being sold here is cosmetic grade and that is what I was looking for. Thanks
