Pleasantly surprised

So this is my first year making soaps soaps for the holidays and I had to do a few holiday themed one, let me say when I first received this scent I was disappointed, I thought that straight out of the bottle it smelled nothing like a christmas or pine tree, but I know they can behave differently when in soap so I used it in a CP recipe and surprisingly I am obsessed with the smell. Everytime I walk past the soaps I have to stop and take a whiff. I still dont think it's quite the smell I was hoping for, but everyone has loved it so far!

The Christmas Tree

This is awful compared to last year's soft and sweet pine scent. Your reformulated Christmas Tree fragrance oil smells like a container of Lysol bathroom cleaner. I'm sorry I ordered the 16 oz size. I'm going to have to figure out how to make this smell better or just pitch it. Sometimes you just need to leave well enough alone!

Tina from Bramble Berry replies...
The Christmas Tree Cybilla Fragrance Oil was reformulated in 2016 to be phthalate-free though we still found it very close to the original, especially once diluted in products. If you're looking for other pine scents you may prefer Christmas Forest Fragrance Oil or Siberian Fir Needle Essential Oil.

Absolutely perfect

I love this scent! It smells just like Christmas. I plan to give soaps made with this as gifts this year... if I don't use all of it first!

Smells just like the Holidays

I thought the scent of this was spot on. I'm new to cold process soap making, and this was a really nice fragrance to use for my early batches. Colors look great and I had a lot of time to swirl. Will definitely be re-purchasing this in larger quantities soon!

A good pine scent

... with a little something extra in the background. I can't quite pinpoint it but it's pleasant. For those concerned with phthalates, consider the science-based medicine coverage. The risk might not be quite what you think it is! http://tinyurl.com/ovnf5v4 or http://preview.tinyurl.com/nt54ozu
