Excellent Soap Base

This is an excellent soap base.. It is so moisturizing and easy to work with. It also takes scents easily. We have tried soap supplies from companies with free shipping. but the soaps are sticky. and hard to work with. I am a true fan of Bramble berry Soaps forever.

Easy Entry to Making Soap

This is a great melt and pour base! I have enjoyed experimenting with fragrances and colors. This is easy to work with, looks beautiful, and is nice and silky to use.

Sweats Like Crazy

Ordered this on mistake. I usually get LCP bases but this was just bad. Sweating a day after unmolding.

Hi Cori! I'm sorry about the sweating. We love the SFIC Clear Melt And Pour Soap Base, though you're right, it does have a higher glycerin content than the LCP bases. That means it is prone to sweating in humid climates. The SFIC LCP Clear M&P and SFIC White M&P are both great options for a lower sweat bases. For more information on how to prevent the base you have now from sweating, check out the Augh! What’s THAT All Over My Soap?! blog post.

worst base ive tried out of 6 clear bases

Hazy instead of clear, turns to rubber before i can pour it and sweats!

Kelsey from Bramble Berry replies...
Hi Jane! I'm sorry you were disappointed in this soap. We love the SFIC Clear Melt and Pour Base and the variety of projects you can create with it, though it is not a crystal clear base. If you want to make the base clearer for embedding projects, you can use the bluing technique seen in Soap Queen TV Episode 4: Embedding in Soap. Sweating is also a natural part of melt and pour soap, find out more about it in our Augh! What's THAT All Over My Soap?! blog post. If you're wanting a low-sweat base, you may prefer either the SFIC LCP Clear Melt And Pour Soap or SFIC LCP White Melt And Pour Soap. As far as the rubbery texture goes, that normally happens when melt and pour begins to burn. I would recommend checking out our How to Avoid Burnt Melt & Pour blog post for tips on how to prevent that.
