Not true coconut

This scent is very artificial coconut to me right out of the bottle. I just did a batch of cold process soap with it. Right out of the mold the scent is literally non-existent. I saw one other reviewer say it comes back with a full cure. Hopefully it does! Also it did seem to cause a very slight acceleration, as I used a recipe that has not accelerated on me with other FO's.

We found the Coconut Cybilla Fragrance Oil does well in cold process soap. Though we do choose all of our fragrances based on a full 6 week cure time so it should come back strong at that point. If you're looking for another coconut scent to use in CP you may prefer our Coconut Cream Fragrance Oil which is more of a bakery type scent.

Coconut needs more coconut

In melt and pour soap, this didn't smell very coconutty.

If you're looking for other coconut scents you may prefer our Island Coconut Fragrance Oil for a straight scent. You also might like our Coconut Cream Fragrance Oil or Coconut Citrus Sorbet Fragrance Oil if looking for a coconut blend.

SYNTETIC

No coconut at all, I don't know what to do with it, I haven't found a true natural coconut aroma.

Crowd Favorite

This is more of the traditional Coconut scent versus the Coconut Cream Fragrance Oil which I absolutely loved as well. A lot of my customers love Coconut, and this is flying off the shelf. This worked extremely well in my CP soap recipe. I will note I have not tried this in a Goat's Milk recipe so I can't guarantee it will be smooth sailing for that kind of recipe. Didn't work for me :(

I'm not sure what happened, but it smells extremely chemical like and not really of coconut at all. I tried to mix it up with different FOs, but the chemical smell persister. Maybe a bad batch, I'm not sure. Disappointed.

Hi Jennifer! I'm sorry this scent wasn't your favorite. We love the versatile and straight scent of our Coconut Cybilla Fragrance Oil! We do choose all of our fragrance oils based off of a full 6 week cure time so you may end up liking it better once it has had time to mature. If you're looking for other coconut scents you may prefer Island Coconut Fragrance Oil, Coconut Cream Fragrance Oil, or Coconut Lemongrass Fragrance Oil.
