Nice Gold Color

Works well in my CP soaps. Stays a true Gold. Also good for brushing on after your soap is out of the mold to highlight or color certain areas of your CP or MP soap. All in all, a nice gold mica.

Gold? NO!

I mixed the mica exactly as your instructions recommended to put a beautiful gold and black top on top of my cold process soap instead I ended up with a butter yellow I am very very disappointed so far with all of the Micas I have purchased none produce the color exspected

Hi Felecia! I'm sorry you were disappointed in this mica. We love the Gold Sparkle Mica, though it does go a butter yellow in cold process soap, as seen in the sample picture above. While some micas have great results in cold process, others will morph color or disappear entirely. To get more spectacular gold results with this mica in cold process soap you can mix the mica with a carrier oil then pour it on top of the batter! See how we did that with the Gold Sparkle Mica in our Black, White and Gold All Over Cold Process tutorial.

Wow! It's amazing!

I have been wanting a gold sparkle to my finished bath products and that being said, it's amazing! My bath bombs sparkle and my soap dazzles! Thank you Brambleberry for this amazing product! I will be ordering again as soon as I run out. I also love how it's in a jar!

The Little Black Dress of Micas

I love this mica-it adds a bit of sass into my bath bombs and melt and pour soaps. I typically use this as an accent to other colors and really helps to make them have that little something extra. It's just a good all around that I keep in my "cupboard."

Beautiful but Not enough INFO!

I would rate this 5 stars as they are beautiful but it will get 4 and that's on BB. There is no information on these beautiful micas regarding whether to use with water, oil or either? The Titanium Dioxide has the info on your site but do not see it under the Mica descriptions? Perhaps, I should know this already but cannot believe I'm the only silly goose that wouldn't want to guess?

Hi Pamela! I'm glad you think our Gold Sparkle Mica is beautiful! Though, I'm sorry you did not think there was enough information on the product page. Micas are fine and easier to incorporate than oxides, so dispersing micas before adding them to your soap is optional. They are oil soluble so if you are wanting to disperse first mix into about 1 tablespoon of a lightweight carrier oil, like Sweet Almond. For more information on micas check our Sunday Night Spotlight: Mica Colorants blog post.
