How do I actually use these?

I made some lotion sticks using the push tubes because the formulation was too soft for a bar, but I still liked how they worked. Anyway, I can’t for the life of me figure out how to get the push tubes to work. I can push them up with no problem, but they don’t stay up unless I hold onto the bottom. Unless I flip them over, that is, in which case the lotion part just falls out, because it is too difficult to grip the push up part while trying to apply it. I bought these because I wanted something clear and a wider diameter than the chapstick tubes, but I can’t in good conscience sell things in them if I myself can’t figure out how to make them work. Can somebody please help me? I’m sure I’d like them better if I knew how to actually utilize them.

stuck with 100 of these

I should have read the reviews. These just can't be made to work, even with different recipes. The part that moves up the tube, just pops out the top. A tiny inner rim would have fixed this issue, and these tubes would be perfect. As for now, they are such a waste.

Hi Marie! I'm sorry these tubes didn't work out for you! While the Push Tubes do work best with stickier recipes they are still designed to be able to be completely pushed out the top if they are not held. If you're looking for a twist option you would probably prefer the Mini Deodorant Tubes or our Standard Deodorant Tubes

Sad to say this is truly not good

I read the previous comments and thought this tube may be what I need. Used a good amount of castor oil but sadly it did not work for me. I love Brambleberry and this is the first time that I am dissatisfied with one of your products. The plastic used for this dispenser is also very hard, when you Screw the cap closed it sounds really hard and brittle.

Hi Janine! I'm sorry these tubes didn't work out for you. We love the Push Tubes and have found recipes that include sticky oils like castor to help grip the sides work well. Recipes with a small amount of beeswax work well too, as beeswax can shrink away from the sides of the tube. If you're looking for another option you may prefer the Standard or Mini Deodorant Tubes, they are a softer plastic.
