Product Description A conditioning emulsifier that has emollient and softening properties in both skincare and hair care. It leaves hair easier to detangle and reduces static. It’s a cationic emulsifier, so it coats the hair shaft and keeps moisture in, where it belongs. These emollient benefits extend to skin as well. It softens and protects skin, helping to keep it hydrated and pliable. It’s an emulsifying ingredient, so it helps to stabilize emulsified products like lotions and conditioners. Unlike BTMS-50, BTMC doesn’t contain cetyl alcohol. This gives the formulator more control over the thickness of their product.
