Project Description

This Pretty Pink Soap was inspired by Barbie with plenty of pink, glitter, and a cute heart shape.

It couldn't be easier to make! It's a great project for first-time soap makers or for making with kids. Simply add a chunk of Electric Bubble Gum Color Block and Pink EcoGlitter to melted clear soap. Rose Quartz Fragrance Oil adds a citrus-y rose scent. Once the soap is poured into the mold and has cooled, it's ready to use!

Pretty in Pink Soap Project

  • Skill Level: Beginner
  • Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 5-6 bars of soap

It couldn't be easier to make! It's a great project for first-time soap makers or for making with kids. Simply add a chunk of Electric Bubble Gum Color Block and Pink EcoGlitter to melted clear soap. Rose Quartz Fragrance Oil adds a citrus-y rose scent. Once the soap is poured into the mold and has cooled, it's ready to use!

You will need:

  • 6 Cavity Heart Silicone Mold
  • 16 oz. Clear Melt and Pour Soap Base
  • 0.4 oz. Rose Quartz Fragrance Oil
  • Electric Bubblegum Color Block
  • Pink EcoGlitter
  • 99% Isopropyl Alcohol in a Spray Bottle

Follow these steps:

1

Chop 16 ounces of Clear Melt and Pour Soap Base into small, uniform cubes. Place them into a heat-safe container and melt in the microwave using 30 second bursts.

2

Once completely melted, add 0.4 ounces of Rose Quartz Fragrance Oil to the clear soap. Stir in completely.

3

Add small shavings of the Electric Bugglegum Color Block to the melted base. Stir to incorporate the color. If necessary, reheat the soap slowly using 5-10 second bursts to help the Color Blocks melt. Add about 1/4 teaspoon of Pink EcoGlitter and stir to incorporate.

4

Pour into the mold cavities. fill about 3/4 full to make 6 bars, or to the very top of the mold to create 5 bars. Spritz the top with alcohol to get rid of bubbles. Allow the soap in the mold to fully cool and harden for 4-6 hours.

5

Remove each bar from the mold. Wrap each bar in plastic wrap to prevent glycerin dew. Enjoy!
