Calendula Lotion (An even easier method is to add preservative, fragrance and extract to a ready made lotion base)
Traditional lotion instructions apply.
Heat water. In separate bowl heat oil, palm stearic and emulsifying wax till melted. Use stick blender to blend ingredients. Add preservative, fragrance and calendula extract as lotion begins to cool (but before it thickens.) Incorporate thoroughly and pour into bottles or jars.
At trace add
Traditional cold process soap making instructions apply.
Weigh oils. In separate bowl, weigh water. Weigh lye in third container, stir into water. Stir until all lye is dissolved. Add lye water to oils (the heat from lye will melt oils), use stick blender to bring to trace. At light trace add fragrance oil and nettle extract. Stir until you have desired trace, pour into mold(s).
Heat oils, palm stearic and emulsifying wax till melted. Add water (heated will help it blend more smoothly) and incorporate into oils. Stir till well blended, a stick blender will make it go faster. Once it's emulsified and has cooled a bit (but still thin) add dimethicone, ginseng, preservative and fragrance.
Mix all the above and bottle
Mix all the above together. Distilled water added in small quantity may be needed to adjust thickness to your needs.
Melt shea butter, M&P Base along with Almond oil. Add to Salt. Add Extract and Fragrance mixing thoroughly.
Melt base add extract and pour into mold. Fragrance or color can be added at same use levels as without extract.
