These shampoo bars are a biodegradable, packaging-free alternative to traditional liquid shampoos, and contain a mixture of several hair nourishing oils. Keep in mind — the nature of soap is to clean, and these bars have a pH of around 7 (slightly less than regular cold process soap). These bars will leave your hair feeling nice and refreshed and in my experience, I needed to load on the conditioner to really make my hair soft and lovely.

I am not a fan of patchouli at all but this blend of scents smells nice. It suds nicely and makes my hair feel clean and fresh. I do perfer to use conditioner with any shampoo bar and do so after using this.
This shampoo bar is, by far, one of the best solid shampoos I have made. I almost gave up on solid shampoo but this recipe is wonderful. It has great lather, cleanses hair really well, washes out quickly and best of all, leaves hair shinny, soft and very well conditioned. The only thing I would prefer to change is the EO blend. I prefer a crisp fresher scent, but scent is not terrible.
