Savannah started her soap making journey in 2023 and hasn't looked back since! She loves to experiment with different swirl techniques and color palettes, taking inspiration from nature and popular culture.

“If you’re thinking about starting your own soap business from home, my biggest piece of advice is: don’t wait for everything to be perfect—just start!” Savannah says. “Do your research—read books, watch videos, and there are some great resources online, like Bramble Berry’s informational articles. For me, I’m a visual learner, so I found watching tutorials and seeing things in action really helpful.”

August: Beehouse Soap

Mithila is a pediatrician, soap maker, and the founder of Beehouse Soap. She discovered the art of soap making over a decade ago as a creative escape from her stressful job as a doctor.

“During the COVID pandemic, being a doctor was very difficult. Making soap and creating art became a release for all of the despair I felt from the state of the world,” Mithila says. “I made so much soap that I had too much to give my office staff! So I started my own business to share my creativity with others.”

October: O'Soy Candle Co.

Justine started making candles back in 2009. Over the last 15 years, Justine has grown a successful candle brand inspired by nostalgia and life’s most special moments.

“I was constantly buying candles to fill my apartment, until one day I thought, why not try making them myself?” Justine says. “What started as a small experiment quickly grew into something bigger. I shared what I was working on through social media and before I knew it, friends and family were reaching out to buy my candles. From those early experiments and sales, O’Soy steadily grew into the candle company it has become today!”

November: Suds & Sunsets Co.

Katie from Suds and Sunsets Co. is passionate about creating eco-friendly bars of soap for sensitive skin. Her vibrant designs are inspired by beautiful sunsets, desert landscapes, and life's simple pleasures.

“My biggest challenge I’m currently experiencing is not being able to make all the fun soaps I want. As of right now, I’m a one-woman show essentially running a young and thriving business from our kitchen,” Katie says. “I have a beautiful community who takes such wonderful care of us, but I wish I could make enough soap for every hand in Lake Havasu (and beyond).”
